Experience
Erich J. Lidl has an AV Preeminent Attorney rating by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell. Erich practices complex civil litigation in both the state and federal courts in the areas of professional liability defense, products liability, construction, business and major torts. Erich’s trial and arbitration experience includes the representation of businesses, licensed professionals, product manufacturers, developers, contractors, subcontractors, and sureties, as well as defending many personal injury matters. Erich has successfully defended cases involving major landslides, building failures, wrongful death, and catastrophic personal injury. He has successfully prosecuted breach of contract and fee actions for business and consultant clients.
Erich’s practice includes business transactions and counseling with an emphasis on representing licensed professionals, commercial construction companies, and manufacturers. He also counsels clients on corporate governance and risk management issues.
Erich has served on the Board of Directors of several companies. He has served as in-house senior counsel for a national utility billing company, as well as outside general counsel for several companies.Erich was named a Top Lawyer in Professional Liability Law by San Diego Magazine, March 2013.
